The splash pad is activated by an optical sensor located in the center of the Blue circle in the center of the Splash Pad.  Using a bare hand or foot, touch the sensor, keeping contact for about a second.  You may see red lights flash around the edge of the sensor and the water will begin to flow.  When the sensor is dry, it may take two to three seconds of contact as well as moving your hand or foot to activate.
